The fact of God's help from Liudmila 29.05.2024

I submitted my name for commemoration in prayer with the Akathist to the Most Holy Theotokos before the "Unexpected Joy" icon on April 21 for six months—one prayer per week. I didn’t always pray diligently and sometimes even skipped it. I had been longing for a daughter. Then, on July 8, completely unexpectedly, I was invited to become a godmother! I was overjoyed and immediately realized—this was my unexpected joy. And yesterday, on September 21, 2024, on the Feast of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos, I found out that I am expecting a baby! Seven years of infertility, no ongoing treatments—I had already accepted my situation and made peace with it. And now, the Lord is sending me not just one, but two children! Truly, an unexpected joy!
