The fact of God's help from Anastasia 20.05.2024

A prayerful protection over our children through the prayers of the Mother of God and the saints! I have been praying Akathists by agreement prayer for several years now. I have counted 11 Akathists so far. I deeply love the sermons of Father Vladimir Golovin—they are my spiritual nourishment. Indeed, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God." Love covers everything. I am very grateful to "Spiritual Lighthouse." I always turn it on and pray together with you. I want to testify that through prayer by agreement, God truly performs miracles. The Lord hears us… I thank St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. In January, we had terrible unrest in Almaty. It was frightening to go outside—there were shootings. I needed to go to the country house where my daughter was staying with her father. No one agreed to drive because there were cases where children and entire families were killed in their cars after coming under fire. But I decided to pray. I prayed to St. Nicholas. And, glory to God, the next day, by a happy chance, I was able to reach my daughter safely. Everything was fine. The Lord hears us through His saints… There have been many times when Saint Matrona of Moscow literally heard my prayers and requests. I want to thank God for everything and also thank all my fellow prayer warriors. I also want to share a revelation that came to me like an enlightenment in the morning after prayer. I used to wonder how to cover myself with the dome of protection that everyone talks about. When I asked those close to me how to protect myself, they would tell me about a method where you imagine putting a protective glass dome or shield over yourself to block negative energy. But I never quite understood how to do that and simply continued to pray. And then suddenly, I had an insight! Prayer is the most powerful, the strongest shield and armor against all the schemes of ill-wishers. The words of prayer literally cover us with a golden protective omophorion, shielding us from all evil, unexpected misfortunes, sudden death, and various dangers. While reading the Akathist to St. Nicholas the Confessor of Kazakhstan, Almaty, I came across these words: his prayer soars in the air! It protects all who pray to him and those for whom prayers are offered. This is how all the saints protect us and our loved ones. We entrust ourselves and our children to the saints in prayer, and they, through their intercession, cover us with their golden omophorion. The Akathist "The Protection of the Mother of God" is truly a shield, a golden covering! Cover us with Your golden omophorion from all evil and misfortune. The Most Holy Theotokos hears all our prayers—I am constantly convinced of this and amazed at how kind She is and how deeply She loves us, especially children… She literally covers them with a golden omophorion, taking them under Her protection and care! We entrust our children to Her… and who can protect them better than She can? The Most Holy Theotokos is the Conqueror of all sorrows and griefs… I always ask in prayer to enlighten my sinful soul and darkened mind from fears and troubling thoughts, and I immediately feel warmth in my heart and the certainty that my prayers have been heard. The most important thing is always to come to Her with a pure and sincere heart in prayer. And praying in your own words also helps. I want to share another miracle that happened yesterday. I work at a school, and a boy from my class, upset with a teacher, left the school, and we couldn’t find him. We had no idea where to look. He wasn’t answering his phone… No words can describe what his mother was feeling. Although she remained strong, it was, of course, incredibly difficult. Two hours passed, and there was still no news of her son. The entire time, I prayed to the Mother of God in my own words. In moments like these, praying is harder than ever… especially battling the terrifying thoughts that keep creeping in. A woman from the church I attend once advised me to download prayers for children onto my phone. There were various prayers there… From time to time, I read from them as well. I prayed to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, with the prayers "Unexpected Joy" and "Seeking the Lost" to the Most Holy Theotokos. I was also told that if a child is not answering the phone, one should pray to the Holy Great Martyr Eustathius Placidas. I prayed to him three times. And about 20–25 minutes later, the boy called his mother! It was incredible. Shortly afterward, he returned home on his own. It was a true miracle… The joy was indescribable…It turns out that for happiness—for us—so little is needed… and you start thinking: does it really matter whether your child got a bad grade or not? Many other concerns simply fade away. So many thoughts came to mind… I had just spoken with his mother earlier—we were chatting about different things, and at that moment, her son, my student, had wanted to go home. He called for his mother, and when she didn’t respond, he left on his own. I realized how important it is to be attentive… How often we get caught up in our daily rush and fail to notice the most important things… The truly important things in life. But the most important thing is glory to God for everything! May our children always be under the protection of God! As it says in the prayer to the Most Holy Theotokos: "Only under Your protection shall we remain safe and sound." Let us pray together for our children so that the Lord always guides us… The saints pray for us…One more incredible thing I wanted to share. I was with my daughter when we were looking for the missing student with his mother. Later, when we were heading home, my daughter told me that she saw a bird above us. It spread its wings wide, and we were as if under its wings, as though under its protection. And above its head, there was a halo… Miracles like this happen! Marvelous are Your works, O Lord… Glory to You, God, Glory to You. Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us sinners. There is such joy in my heart when I stand in prayer and realize that so many people are praying with me for God’s good and perfect will to be fulfilled in our lives, our children, and our loved ones.
