The fact of God's help from Eugenia 04.10.2024

Good afternoon, dear brothers and sisters! Once again, I want to share with you the miracles and help that Saint Nicholas has granted our family. In September of this year, I wrote a testimony about a great miracle that the Lord performed for us through the help and support of the Most Holy Theotokos and Saint Nicholas—we were able to enroll our children in the best private school, even though at that time, we had absolutely no chance of doing so. Later, it turned out that our health insurance had expired, leaving our entire family without access to medical care. I wasn’t as worried for myself and my husband as I was for our children—how would they manage without doctors? With tears, I prayed the Akathist to Saint Nicholas and the Akathist to the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos. And something incredible happened! I won’t go into details, but in October, we once again received reliable health insurance, and my heart found peace. Glory to God for this! Glory to our saints! Then, another unbelievable instance of Saint Nicholas’s help occurred. For the New Year holidays, we went on vacation and stayed at a hotel in a coastal city. Despite its beauty, this city is known as one of the most crime-ridden places in Europe. The hotel didn’t have its own parking, so we had to leave our car for three nights in a public covered parking lot. After reading the reviews, I saw that nearly every second person reported having their car windows smashed and belongings stolen—some even had their cars stolen entirely. This was common across nearly all the parking lots in the city. The police and security did nothing about it. We had no other option, but I had an icon of Saint Nicholas with me. I placed it in the car’s glove compartment and prayed, asking for protection from theft. And he protected us! Just two cars away from us, another traveler’s vehicle had its rear window shattered on the morning of our last day. But our car remained completely untouched! I can’t even imagine what we would have done in a foreign country, with children, without a rear window, and needing to drive hundreds of kilometers back home! There are no words to express how grateful I am to the Lord and to Saint Nicholas! As long as we pray and believe, we are never alone!
