The fact of God's help from Tatiana and Eug 26.12.2024

We came from Ukraine to France and encountered serious housing difficulties. Nothing seemed to work out. We began praying Akathists to the Most Holy Theotokos, Saint Nicholas, and Saint Spyridon of Trimythous for 40 days straight. A miracle happened: social workers took up our case and found us housing in a good, warm region. They told us we were very lucky because vacancies in that area are extremely rare, especially for separate housing. Meanwhile, in the region where we had previously stayed, social workers had told us they wouldn’t assist us and that we had no right to temporary social housing. During our period of prayer with the Akathists, our problems started resolving. At a refugee center in Paris, we were placed in a room where there was an icon of Saint Nicholas. The next day, we were taken to Bordeaux, the second capital of France, to another temporary center. There, we were treated with great care, helped with medical appointments, and received all kinds of support. Three weeks later, we were given separate housing in a neighboring city. When we entered the building, we immediately noticed a strong scent of incense. As for the apartment itself—we had dreamed of finding a home in a warm region, with clean plumbing, good beds, and in a city. Now, we have all of this and even more! Glory to God and His saints for everything!
