The fact of God's help from Olga 07.06.2024

Olga
Hello, brothers and sisters in Christ. I want to share an instance of the help of St. Sergius of Radonezh. I am late in writing this, but I have started praying to St. Sergius again and remembered that I had promised to testify. I could not have even dreamed of such help when I began praying to St. Sergius for my son! I did not deserve it. My son transferred from school after the 10th grade (in our country, secondary education lasts 12 years) to a vocational school with a secondary education program, as we were sure he would not pass the state exams after the 12th grade in the gymnasium and would not receive a secondary education diploma (he was a difficult, lazy teenager with poor grades). Now I cannot bring myself to describe my son in such terms. My son moved to the vocational school. When the time for exams came, I had a lump in my throat and felt anxious. I should mention that since 2017, I have been praying in communal prayer with various Akathists. And God's help through the prayers of our saints comes constantly, and miracles become reality. Therefore, during this difficult period, I decided to help my son with prayer. I began praying to St. Sergius of Radonezh for help in his studies, asking the saint to help my son pass his exams so that he could continue to pursue a profession. I prayed not only on Mondays. My son went to his exams, and I prayed the Akathist. Help came. My son passed his exams with good grades. Moreover, while still studying at the vocational school but already in his specialty, my son started working part-time. But the most important thing is that in two weeks, my son is flying abroad to study, as he has been accepted into a university there. My joy knows no bounds. At first, I could not believe it. But now I have decided that while my son is studying (the education is paid, and he will have to work part-time there—everything on his own), I will continue to pray to St. Sergius of Radonezh and thank him and our Lord Jesus Christ for His mercy and love for me, a sinner. May this testimony of help encourage those who are still hesitating whether to start praying or not. Start and continue!
