The fact of God's help from Appolinaria 27.08.2024

Dear fellow prayer warriors, I thank you all for your prayers! Through the prayers of the akathists, a miracle has happened in my life—or rather, many miracles. Four months ago, my marriage began to fall apart before my eyes, and I immediately started praying the akathist to the Holy Martyrs Gurias, Samonas, and Abibus. The situation seemed so hopeless that I prayed not only on Fridays but every day. Over time, I added other akathists to this one (including the akathist to Blessed Xenia of St. Petersburg, which I found online). Changes began immediately, but not the ones I had hoped for. Of course, I was upset that I had to wait, but deep down, I understood that I was not yet ready for what I was asking for. Over these four months, I have changed a lot: thanks to daily prayer, frequent visits to church, and reading the Bible, my life has gained meaning. There is still much for me to correct and much to learn, but from the bottom of my heart, I ask you, my beloved fellow prayer warriors, not to lose heart. God hears us and loves us!
