I want to share our miracle of family transformation. My husband and I used to argue every day; we couldn’t hear each other. In my soul, there was despair and confusion about how we were even living together. My husband would often casually throw words at me: “If you want, leave!” It hurt me deeply, but I had no intention of leaving. I got married for life, and I hope it will always be that way, with God’s help. So, I decided to take up prayer—the akathist to the Holy Martyrs Gurias, Samonas, and Abibus. I tried not to engage in arguments, to humble myself, and then my husband also began to humble himself. We started striving for a common goal, and our disagreements disappeared. In the third month of reading the akathist, I became pregnant, and by the end of that year of prayers, I gave birth to a son! Glory to God for everything!!!
