The fact of God's help from Julia 08.02.2025

Maybe this testimony will help someone. I have been praying the Akathist to my Guardian Angel for several years—I’ve lost count. I once heard in Father Vladimir’s talks that "if you are covered in sins, what kind of happiness do you expect?" And I thought, "I’m such a good person, why doesn’t God give me a husband?" Only through prayer to my Guardian Angel did I finally see myself for who I truly am. So many sins were revealed to me—it was as if I was looking at myself from the outside, and it terrified me. And then it became clear—God wasn’t giving me a husband because I wasn’t worthy. The most important things are humility and patience. But how do you become worthy? You must recognize your sins, repent, receive Communion, and change. Then, perhaps, if God sees your effort, He will, in His mercy, grant your request. And here is the real help I received—I was able to see my sins, so I could do the most important thing: repent and be saved. Everything else will follow in its time. Glory to God for everything!
