The fact of God's help from Marina 23.04.2024

Hello, brothers and sisters! I want to testify to the help I received through prayer to the Most Holy Theotokos, "Seeking the Lost." For many years, I suffered from various vices, to the point of despair. At times, I even wanted to die. Though I went to confession frequently, I didn’t truly understand what repentance was. The first time I read the Akathist "Seeking the Lost," I was overwhelmed. I saw myself in a way I had never seen before. All my pain burst out. It wasn’t just my suffering—I felt as if God had shown me my festering wound. Through tears, I begged the Mother of God to cleanse me of this nightmare. It lasted only minutes, but after the prayer, I felt so light—as if the heaviest stone had been lifted from my shoulders. After several months of praying by agreement, I feel as if I am soaring. I no longer even think about the vices that once crippled my soul. It truly feels like the Mother of God drove away the unclean force—clearly and swiftly. I hope and believe that it is forever. Amen.
