The fact of God's help from Sophie 06.09.2024

Sophie
Hello. This is far from my first testimony of God’s help, and I am sure it won’t be my last. I have been praying by agreement since 2017. I came from a secular Muslim family ("God is in the soul," etc.) and moved from Moscow to Istanbul in 2016, where I found Christ and was baptized. Everything happened through prayer… But this testimony is not about me. At our Orthodox church, I befriended a Romanian woman who was married to a wonderful Turkish man—a very pious and devout Muslim. They had two daughters, ages 10 and 12. Unfortunately, 2.5 years ago, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. We immediately submitted his name for prayer with the Akathist to the Mother of God before Her icon "The Queen of All" and many other Akathists. He underwent surgery, chemotherapy, and treatments, but a year later, he passed away. What was truly astonishing was that in his final days, while in a semi-coma, he had visions of holy figures during the very moments we were praying for him—even though he never knew we were praying to Orthodox saints. My friend prayed secretly, stepping out into the corridor. But he would call her back into the room, saying, "A woman or a young man just came in," though no one had actually entered. He described their appearance, and they were the Mother of God, Saint Panteleimon, and other saints… But he still passed away—God’s will be done. They had raised their children without a specific faith, believing that they should decide for themselves when they grew up. My friend, however, is a devout Orthodox Christian. She eventually felt called to pray with Bolgar for her daughters, first the elder one, then the younger one, with the Akathist to Archangel Michael. They submitted the girls’ names for commemorative prayer, and a miracle happened…In 2023, the elder daughter came to her mother on her own and said she wanted to be baptized. She had seen Christ in a dream, even though her mother had never talked to them about faith or encouraged them toward baptism. She was baptized in 2023, and then, in January 2024, the younger daughter also expressed her desire to be baptized! Now, they are all baptized—mother and both daughters!I have no doubt that this happened through the help of Archangel Michael! What amazing miracles! Glory to God for everything! Thank you to all my fellow prayer warriors for praying by agreement! I have been with you since April 2017!
