The fact of God's help from Susanna 02.03.2024

In these difficult times, when for three years we’ve been bombarded from every side with talk of death—whether from the virus, war, or the servants of the Antichrist—I was on the verge of a breakdown. I have been living in Germany for three years, but I desperately want to return home and cannot convince my husband to leave. After 16 years, I still don’t feel at home here—just constant apathy, nothing brings me joy. Only when I take short trips back to Russia do I feel alive again, but once I return, I fade away. During yet another moment of despair, not knowing what to do or how to move forward, I began praying the Akathist to Archangel Michael and reading Psalms 26, 50, and 90. From the very first day, my fear and apathy lifted, and I felt clarity and confidence in God's protection. I only read it once. I also pray daily Akathists to Saint Nicholas—I love him deeply, he is my protector. Every time I start my day with the Akathist to Saint Nicholas, my day is happy and easy. I will continue praying all the daily Akathists. Glory to God for everything. Lord, have mercy on us.
