Hello, dear brothers and sisters! I want to leave my second testimonial about prayer by agreement! For two months in a row, I had pus on the left side of my tonsil. I didn’t pay much attention to it and kept postponing a visit to the ENT specialist, but in the last two days before the appointment, I started to worry about it. I went to the doctor, and after examining me, he said I needed to have a CT scan of my sinuses and also check the tonsil. He added that if pus was coming from the tonsil, I would have to have my tonsils removed. I was shocked when the doctor mentioned surgery because my profession involves flying, and this operation would mean a long sick leave. We also live in a rented apartment, so this was a big concern. I went and had the CT scan, which showed chronic right-sided sinusitis, but the sinuses were clear. When I got home, I tearfully prayed to Blessed Matrona of Moscow. I asked her to heal me, a sinner, so that it wouldn’t come to surgery. I read the akathist, and through the intercession of Saint Matrona of Moscow, the Lord performed a miracle. The next morning, I woke up, and there was no smell or pus. Not long ago, I was in Moscow for the first time and visited the Pokrovsky Convent, where I was fortunate enough to venerate the relics of our beloved Saint Matrona. There, I also bought some oil blessed at her relics. Yesterday, I started applying the oil to my neck and praying, and I also drank a little of it. When I went back to the doctor in the morning, he said there was only a little pus left, nothing like before, and told me it wasn’t serious. He prescribed treatment and throat rinses. That’s the miracle that happened to me. Forgive me for such a long testimonial. Do not doubt—the Lord and all the saints hear us and help us. That’s how they helped me, a sinner.
